I have made a new logo for Distinctly Jordan DJ Service. I tried to make it look like it was showcasing a product. Hope it turned out that way. You can see all of the different logos at my Flickr account.

Over the past month, Ive gotten behind on posting articles... Thats because I didn't really have much to talk about that had to do with Distinctly Jordan DJ Service. So, with that said, I set-up a new blog that will be more of my personal entries in it. Think of it as an online journal. It however, has nothing to do with Distinctly Jordan DJ Service. Into the Woods: 5th Avenue Theater

This Wednesday, Mr. Klementsen organized a field trip for drama to go see Into The Woods. ITW is a great musical by Steven Sondheim and James Lapine. Whats so cool about this is it only is going to cost us $20! It will be a matinée performance at like 10 or so. More info can be found at the 5th Avenue Theater website.

Half-Days & Sno-Isle

Today in the Marysville School District is a half-day. Also tomorrow and Friday are as well. Unfortunatley, I still have to go to Sno-Isle because their in a different district. The only cool thing about it is I get to get out of 3rd period early today, and tomorrow is only periods 4,5,6 so i sit at my school for a few hours and then leave. Not too bad…

Sidebar Feature: Last.fm

While I fix-up a few things on the site, I decided to play with a widget from Last.fm. Its off to the right of the screen. As you can see its displaying what song I'm currently listening to. Its a cool little thing that connects to my iTunes and displays what I'm listening to right at the moment. There are a lot more stats that are available like what are the top artists I listen too, what songs I listen to the most and whole bunch more. All of this can be found on my profile.

I say goodbye to an old friend today. I've been using the blogging platform called Wordpress for about 5 years now. It was a great learning experience for me, but I've never really liked the way it used PHP. So, with that said, I switched to Ruby On Rails, This platform is much faster and uses less code. Anyway, a popular CMS (Content Managment System) for Ruby on rails is Mephisto. It was fairly easy to set-up, and I like the way the admin is layed-out.
